Hôtel Tassel: Maison de l'Art Nouveau is Genie’s first ready-to-wear collection, drawing from the sinuous elegance of the Art Nouveau movement. Inspired by the organic curves of whiplash architecture, Klimt’s decorative fans, and the stained glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany, this collection reinterprets historical craftsmanship through contemporary silhouettes.
Each piece is a fusion of East and West—pleats echoing Japanese fan-making traditions, floral appliqués reminiscent of Mucha’s flowing compositions, and rich jewel tones capturing the opulence of 19th-century interiors. With custom silk patterns, intricate pleating, and asymmetrical draping, Hôtel Tassel embodies Art Nouveau’s ethos: nature transformed into wearable art, movement frozen in fabric.
